2014 Cabernet Sauvignon
After a very long absence, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is finally back! It’s a big, bold wine with a nose full of ripe red fruits, cassis, pipe tobacco, and dark chocolate. The mouth follows with a luscious, velvety smooth texture and a fantastic balance.
Review Of Washington Wines:
This displays a semi opaque ruby color and a rich, intense nose of blackberry, cherry, plum, crushed black roses, pipe tobacco, cedar, anise, a hint of mint, and smoldering incense. On the palate, the flavors are bold and direct, comprised of thick dark fruits that are intermixed with licorice, dark cocoa, extra dark roast coffee beans and loamy minerals. The saturation continues on the chewy textured back with macerated berries, roasted walnuts, mocha and pulverized charcoal, followed by a lengthy ripe sweet-dry tannin finish. 19/20 points.
